Rome, the heart of Christianity, the eternal city with a wealth of monuments and works of art the envy of the world over. Rome is the only European capital to have a DOCG wine: Frascati Superiore. The wine takes its name from the most important small town in the production zone, is produced on the basis of ancient tradition and is one of the most renowned and appreciated wines in the world up to the mid twentieth century, when its quality was recognized with the designation DOGC.
